Latest News

Robert Injey, Municipal Councillor of Nice and head of the list for “Nice, People First” (Left Front), presented his program in front of about a hundred supporters. Two major ideas are highlighted, “Giving power back to the citizens” and “Allowing the people of Nice to live in Nice.”

A program that develops into nine axes: Return power to the citizens, housing and transportation in Nice, initiating a true ecological transition, working in Nice, living together in Nice, sports and culture in Nice, support for youth, making Nice an exemplary city of gender equality, being proud of Nice, and a Nice that is united and open to the Mediterranean and the world.

The candidate addresses numerous themes such as housing with a goal of 20% social housing by 2020 in the area of Nice and the metropolis, transportation with the immediate abandonment of the tunnel option for line 2 of the tramway, and an improvement in the linkage between different modes of transportation.

Robert Injey is determined to initiate a genuine ecological transition and combat all types of pollution. Gender equality also holds a significant place in the program with the enforcement of professional equality and strengthening the fight against violence towards women. Seniors are not forgotten with the creation of 1,000 additional places in public retirement homes by 2020.

Will the electorate of Nice be able to appreciate all these proposals?
