To address the demand from the people of Nice regarding noise disturbances and gatherings that create a sense of insecurity, Christian Estrosi, Mayor of Nice, and President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, wanted to establish a specialized brigade dedicated to maintaining public tranquility.
Starting this Monday, March 5th, the BMITP – Mobile Intervention Brigade for Public Tranquility, created within the Directorate of Security and Protection and consisting of 12 Municipal Police officers, will operate in the streets of Nice to combat all forms of disturbances: incivilities, noise, vandalism, neighborhood troubles, youth gatherings, etc.
Its objectives: to reassure and calm residents, deter potential or known offenders, and reduce the feeling of insecurity.
Christian Estrosi invites you to discover the BMITP and its officers, ready to intervene in the field, alongside residents, for an even safer and quieter city…
Thank you in advance for your presence and the attention you can give to this information.
