Muriel Marland-Militello, President of the Parliamentary Study Group on Associative Life and Volunteering, has been chosen to represent the deputies on the High Council for Associative Life that has just been created. This appointment was published in the Official Journal on July 19, 2011.

Muriel Marland-Militello will continue, within the High Council for Associative Life, to pay close attention to volunteers and small local associations, which are too often overlooked by public policies.

Its creation was decided following the second conference on associative life, during which Muriel Marland-Militello represented the Parliament.

Positioned alongside the Prime Minister, it will be required to be consulted on texts concerning associations.

It will also have a proposal role to facilitate the development of associative life. It can be directly approached by the associative world on any issue concerning all associations.
