Music Festival in Menton: Diversity Takes Center Stage

Latest News

This year in Menton, the music festival took place in various locations: the municipal conservatory, the Saint-Éxupéry hall, the Saint-Michel basilica, the Elysée-Reclus garden, as well as the Francis Palmero esplanade, as it does every year.

It was the group Div’artistica that opened the festivities on the stage set up in the middle of the gardens, with their repertoire of French and international variety music.

After a break from 6 pm to 8 pm, during which some artists made final adjustments to their performances, the festival resumed at 8 pm with half an hour of dance by the groups Swaga Murda (soul, hip-hop) and, due to the World Cup in Brazil, Brésil Cristar Dance.

Then Sourires et Mélodies took over for most of the evening, from 8:30 pm to 11 pm, again with French and international variety music.

For the finale of this 2014 music festival, the local metal rock band from Menton and Roquebrune, Indy Kush, performed for two hours where rock fans could enjoy the great atmosphere.
