“Mini concerts in bars and restaurants will be possible” during the music festival this Monday, June 21, announced the Minister of Culture, Roselyne Bachelot.
Therefore, the protocol is relaxed compared to what was initially planned. It originally allowed for concerts only outdoors. For the rest, the proposed plan remains valid, the minister specified: wearing masks is still recommended outside during gatherings, and it is prohibited to gather in groups of more than ten people in public spaces.
Additionally, the French will enjoy a music festival without a curfew since the 11 p.m. restriction will have been lifted the day before.
However, it was noted that unauthorized concerts causing “gatherings on public roads” will not be accepted. Furthermore, in venues open to the public or in establishments open to the general public (ERP) accommodating more than 1,000 people, a health pass will be required at the entrance.
