This Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the Alpes-Maritimes and France will celebrate the festival of music. Here are the most lined-up programs from the municipalities of our department.

Nice

Square Booth, Pessicart District in Nice from 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM (Drinks and dining on site):

• 6:30 PM: The Little Conservatory of Pessicart
• 7:15 PM: Gérard (Jazzy, classics of French song)
• 8:00 PM: Blacklisted (Inspired by English rock, with a “punk rock” note)
• 9:10 PM: Synapse (Rock)

48 Cyrille Besset Avenue from 8 PM to midnight: culture for everyone with ASSO animation HAMAC

• LOREEN will perform some live tracks
• Animation with oldies from the 80s
• HAMAC Show that will make you sweat! DJ OLIV. returning on the Côte d’Azur, familiar with the Mediterranean coast nightclubs! … The show will also be accessible to people with reduced mobility. Free access.

Cannes

• Music Kiosk – Allées de la Liberté from 7 PM to 9:30 PM: To the sound of electrified strings (violins, violas), computer-assisted music (MAA), and the Jazz Big Band from the Conservatory of Music, come and spend a moment of joy and good humor.

• Place de l’Etang at 8:30 PM: Trio Popcorn (International pop/rock music from the 30s to the 80s)
• Boulevard de la République / Place Commandant Maria at 7 PM: Memories 06 (International variety group – funk, disco, pop, madison, latino…).
• Marché Forville from 6 PM to midnight: Music & Dreams. Several DJs will take the stage, with a program of contemporary music: Guillaume Karoutchi, Moyo, Vandal On Da Track, Zinger and guests.
• Place du Marché de la Bocca from 6 PM to 8 PM: Arteka (French and international variety) / From 8 PM: Concerts by Papa Malick N’Diaye, Mariaa Siga, and Jeyo, presented by the MJC Picaud.
• Moulin Forville at 7:30 PM: A medley of poetic music. At the foot of Le Suquet in the historic setting of the 14th-century Moulin Forville, you will be settled under the ancient plane tree to listen and watch about ten artists – singers, musicians, poets – perform in this dreamlike space. Price: €15 / €10
• Grand Large Space forecourt at Port Canto at 7:30 PM: A unique musical, sung, and narrative show on the life and work of Georges Gershwin. The show revolves around words narrated by a storyteller and well-known tunes performed by internationally renowned lyrical artists from the Nice Opera.

Ranguin Media Library at 2 PM : Songs by the elementary school students from the Ranguin district and their teacher Sandrine Zegers from the Cannes Conservatoire on the piano.

Antibes

Place Nationale (kiosk):

Place des Martyrs de la Résistance: From 8 PM tap dance demonstration by the Taps Line group followed by the Recordações du Portugal group

Cagnes-sur-mer

• Place du Château from 9 PM to 11 PM: Come breakdance alongside the band “Hot-Wax”! (Pop, Funk, Hip-Hop, soul/R&B, jazz repertoire). Quartet of four friends from the Var region formed in 2013, their repertoire ranges from Jazz (Jamie Cullum) to Hip-Hop (Drake), through Pop (John Mayer, Oasis, Ed Sheeran), and Funk (Jamiroquai, Michael Jackson, Prince).
• Place de Gaulle from 5 PM: The music classes from the Conservatory of Music will perform at the beginning of the evening on Place de Gaulle, followed by three bands presented by the city’s Youth Service (Studio 25): SunFlow’Her, Dark Water, and First Class
• Place de la Marine from 8:30 PM to 11 PM: Come discover the band “The Maybugs”, which will perform classics from the Pop-Rock repertoire from the 50s to the 80s

Grasse

In 2022, the city of Grasse is celebrating Music and invites you from 6 PM, with a program featuring:

MOUGINS VILLAGE – Place des Patriotes

• 7:00 PM-8:30 PM – TEAM FUNK (Disco Funk): Team Funk is the story of two twin brothers, Maxime & Fabien, passionate about music, who decided to create a band to perform on various stages in the Alpes Maritimes and the Var. Originaire du sud de la France, Team Funk et ses musiciens professionnels s’inspire et revisite les plus grands succès de la musique Funk, Soul des années 80 à nos jours !
• 9:00 PM-12:00 AM – KARMA (Modern Pop): Passionate about music and smiles, the group KARMA can cater to a wide audience from all generations with its extensive repertoire ranging from the 60s to today!

MOUGINS-LE-HAUT – Place des Arcades

• 7:30 PM-8:30 PM – Musical tale (if rain, relocated to Scène 55 Theatre – 55 chemin de Faissole) “The World as a Garden”. A family musical tale from 4 years old. Written and told by Alain Vidal. Duration: 50 mins
• 9:00 PM-12:00 AM – JULIEN MANCINI (DJ night): The DJ will animate this evening with an eclectic playlist covering all the hits of recent years, as well as timeless tunes everyone loves to dance to!

Mouans-Sartoux

From 7:30 PM to 11:30 PM: 12 stages, 30 bands, and over 200 musicians spread across the city will provide music for this evening. Rock, chanson, musette, African or electronic music, all styles will be represented in a family and joyful spirit to welcome summer and celebrate this reunion moment.

Peymeinade

Library forecourt: Guitare, Musique, Spectacles (GMS) association from 5 PM to 7 PM: Budding guitarists from the Guitare, Musique, Spectacles (GMS) association will play world music, classical tunes, and duets on the library forecourt. Then those from the Guitar House association from 7 PM to 9 PM

• Starting at 8 PM, the Jaïsous-Jacourets neighborhood council is offering a beautiful eclectic musical lineup, to be discovered along a path marked by luminaries:

– Belletrud Canal Factory (Fragonard Avenue), Deprecated, Marie Antoinette, (rock)

Vence

Music Festival 2022 in Vence: as in previous years, the music festival in Vence is open to all music lovers who wish to share their passion with the public. From 6 PM to midnight, 15 bands will take to the various stages in the city to give you a crazy evening.

• For rock, head to the Place du Grand Jardin.
• A crazy atmosphere with pop, will be on the Place Clémenceau.
• For folk, rap, and a DJ, the perfect mix will be on Place Godeau.
• And an electro stage, Place Anthony Mars!

Valbonne

Music Festival in Valbonne: head to Garbejaïre and the village to attend free concerts:

• In Garbejaïre, Fragonard courtyard from 7:30 PM to midnight: concert organized by MJC L’Escale L’Île aux Trésors in partnership with the restaurateurs from the courtyard.
• In Haut-Sartoux: Place Bermond at 7:30 PM “Patrick Regan”, at 8:30 PM “MaryCovers”, and at 10:30 PM “DJ-Flow”
• In the Village: The Valbonne Village merchants’ association proposes a white dress code in the Village for the music festival.
• On Place des Arcades: 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM “Mehdi”, piano / vocals
• In front of the former Town Hall: 7:30 PM to 10:00 PM “Max Cinnamon trio” followed at 10:30 PM by “DJ GIBS”, DJ animati

Saint-Paul-de-Vence

• From 4:45 PM to 7 PM, in the village streets: Parade by the Batucada group.
• From 7 PM to 11:30 PM, at the Town Hall square: Jazz funk atmosphere with Romain Dravet.
• From 7 PM to 11:30 PM, viewpoint: Piano concert by Eliel James.
• From 8 PM to 9 PM, Place de Gaulle: Classical and jazz concert by the Saint-Paul Harmony.
• From 9 PM to 11:30 PM, Place de Gaulle: Salsa initiation and Latino night.

Le Rouret

2 performance areas will be available for more live music. Several food trucks will also be on-site with a menu featuring: Burger, Bagels, Italian specialties, crepes, Tapas plates… wine and draft beer bar.
