The 21st of June celebrates both the start of summer and music! On the longest day of the year, we offer you a non-exhaustive list of places to party until the break of dawn.

What’s happening in Nice?

  • The City of Nice invites you to a giant Karaoke “Nice Sings Europe!” from 6 PM to 11 PM at Parc du Ray, with free entry. Enjoy general knowledge quizzes on the European Union, French and European hits broadcasted on a giant screen, animation crews, goodies to win… And dine on deck chairs and picnic tables while enjoying the food trucks available for the occasion.
  • Organized by the association Nice à Vélo, discover the “SJ Set on the bike”, a festive bike ride with music! Meet at 7 PM on the forecourt of the Gare du Sud.
  • From 6 PM to midnight at Square Roger Boyer (31 avenue Saint-Barthélémy): a night full of surprises with DJs & guitarist musicians in a totally eclectic mode! 70’s; 80’s; 90’s, Soul, Funk, Dance, Rock, Pop music…
  • From Funk to House at La Pâtisserie! La Pâtisserie (1 rue du collet) is organizing a night with a DJ-set featuring funk, afro, and house sounds.

Moreover, many bars and restaurants offer musical nights throughout the city.

Villefranche

  • At 5:30 PM, a classical music concert will be offered by the SIVOM classes at Félix Poullan Square.
  • From 8 PM, Décibels, an amateur rock group, will perform at Amélie Pollonnais Square.

Beaulieu-sur-mer

Join us from 7 PM for a Pop Rock concert with the group Karma at Marinoni Square until 11 PM.

La Trinité

  • The School of Music and Arts will present a general public concert from 2 PM to 6 PM, featuring students and choirs.
  • From 7 PM, Jardin Tagnati will host a large open-air concert. Major hits will be revisited! The show will continue until midnight with singers and groups featuring pop rock, rap, variety, and reggae sounds.
  • Early in the evening, musical entertainment in front of the terraces will also enliven the Place de la République.

Saint-Paul-de-Vence

  • 5 PM to 8 PM: wandering performances in the village streets with Gypsy latino music.
  • 8 PM: Harmony of Saint-Paul de Vence at Gaulle Square.
  • 8 PM: Baous Music School at the church square.
  • 9:30 PM: Eliel James and Avant gu’art for an opera and modern night at Gaulle Square.

Èze village

Music Festival at Èze village – Church Square

  • 7 PM: Mademoiselle Jones is a group composed of six musicians. Their repertoire includes a selection of Soul, funk, and electro covers from past and present.
  • 9 PM: Lise Darly and her Variety musicians is a French singer-songwriter.

La Turbie

From 8 PM: Musical evening hosted by DJ Camy at Théodore de Banville Square.

From 8:15 PM: Rock Concert “Rockurbie” at Place Neuve.

Levens

From 9 PM to 11 PM: Free concert with the group Miss Dey and the Residents at Place de la République.

Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat

  • Musical wandering through the village and along Lindbergh and Virgile Allari quays.
  • From 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM: Tambores de Fogo (a group of 12 musicians and dancers from Brazil) and Los Hermanos (Gipsy latino) will entertain the terraces and shops.

Cannes

  • Meet at the Music Kiosk, Allées de la Liberté, from 3 PM to 4 PM: to discover the choir O’Absolue.
  • Etang Square from 8:30 PM: Enjoy the Trio Popcorn for some international pop/rock music.
  • Boulevard de la République from 8:30 PM: Route 66 will perform international variety and French songs from the 80s to today.
  • Paul Roubaud Square from 8 PM: Papet J. – Les Boukans – Tonton and gro (Modern Dancehall – Electro song).
