Music in the service of youth education

Latest News

Music makes its (belated) entry into young people’s education. Yet, all child psychologists will tell you that listening to music and, even better, practicing music brings a sensitivity that reflects positively on the developing personality of young people. Better late than never!

For the past two years, its Philharmonic Orchestra has regularly ventured outside and offered open-air concerts to the general public in various neighborhoods of Nice (Place Saint-Roch, Promenade du Paillon, Parvis de la Gare du Sud…). This year, the Philharmonic is focusing more specifically on young people and is launching a “charm” operation towards the young school audience within priority education networks.

Thus, starting October 4th, the kick-off date for this operation: twenty-three musicians from the Nice Philharmonic Orchestra, conducted by Frédéric Deloche, will perform a playful and whimsical musical show centered around works from the classical repertoire, cheerfully introduced by a narrator and joyfully performed.
