As every year for the past 7 years, the National Union of Independent Retired Traders of the Côte d’Azur-Corsica (UNIRC) offers the residents of the Grosso residence of the CCAS a festive afternoon.
A musical show (singing, choir, accordion) organized by two musicians from the group “Côte Sud Musique” is offered to the residents.
For a moment of conviviality and exchange, the show is accompanied by a snack offered by the UNIRC and each resident will receive a gift.
The Grosso Residence
The CCAS of Nice manages four retirement homes, intended for elderly people with a loss of autonomy. Equipped with medical and paramedical staff, they are under agreement with the State and the General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes (Social Assistance, Personal Autonomy Allowance).
The Grosso residence has a capacity of 33 beds. Fun, cultural, social, therapeutic, and physical activities adapted to the residents are organized daily.

This association, chaired by Claude Roux, aims to defend, inform, assist, and entertain seniors, former traders of the Independent Social Regime and members.
It has nearly 700 members in the City of Nice.
Protecting and asserting the rights of seniors, informing them about retirement news, supporting the most isolated and underprivileged, providing benefits on mutual and insurance policies, as well as coming together in conviviality and exchange, are the objectives of the UNIRC.
