From April 22 to 24, 2022, a multitude of events will take place at 109 โ Pรดle de Cultures Contemporaines to pay tribute to the craftsmanship and popular knowledge of the musical cultures of the Mediterranean Latin Arc (Nice, Catalonia, Salento, Italian Occitan valleys).
The program for these three days includes workshops on practice and instrument making, concerts, baleti, shared meals, all in a musical and convivial atmosphere.
The meeting is initiated by the Nux Vomica collective and the Nice organization 109.
Initially visual artists, then musicians, their motivations remain unchanged: to celebrate traditional festivals, the Niรงard language, and to take an interest in their neighbors and neighborhood.
They broaden their horizon by inviting musicians involved in the cultures of their French, Italian, Catalan, and Occitan regions.
The primary goal of the meeting is to establish a common foundation based on Niรงard culture and those of what is known as the Latin Arc. Living together is essential, and it is important to maintain it through meetings with one another.
The event is free except for the evening concerts, which cost between โฌ5 and โฌ8.
