The Colombian Nairo Quintana (Arkea-Samsic) won the 54th Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var cycling race this Sunday by also winning the 3rd and final stage, ridden solo over 112.6 km between Villefranche-sur-Mer and Blausasc.
Nairo Quintana was once again stronger than his opponents this Sunday.
Starting in Villefranche-sur-Mer early in the afternoon, Quintana was second in the general classification of the Tour des Alpes-Maritimes et du Var, behind the Belgian Tim Wellens. The Arkea-Samsic rider finished solo in Blausasc.
Guillaume Martin (+1’22”), Thibaut Pinot, Alexis Vuillermoz, and Tim Wellens (+1’30”) followed in this order.
