As part of the activities of the Napoleonic Remembrance, René Lazard will give a lecture on September 7 at the Espace Association, Garibaldi Square.
The title of the lecture is “1813, the Miraculous Resurrection of the Grande Armée,” and the speaker will explain in his presentation how Napoleon, after the disaster of the 1812 Russian campaign, turned the strategic situation to his advantage by winning the battles of Lützen, Bautzen, and Dresden against the Sixth Coalition.
