National Day Celebrations: Prohibition on the Sale, Possession, and Use of Fireworks

In order to prevent any disturbance to public order and tranquility that may occur during the national holiday celebrations, the following measures have been enacted by the prefect of Alpes-Maritimes and are valid from July 9 to July 15 inclusive:

1. The sale of entertainment fireworks, regardless of their category, is prohibited from July 9 to July 15, 2018, inclusive.

2. The possession and use of entertainment fireworks, regardless of their category, are prohibited from July 9 to July 15, 2018, inclusive on public roads and directed towards public roads, in places with large gatherings of people, in their vicinity, and in residential buildings and directed towards the latter.
