The French have been encouraged to actively participate in the Grand National Debate, either through local initiative meetings or by contributing to the citizen registers.
Many mayors from the Alpes-Maritimes have organized these meetings or facilitated the organization of these exchanges by associations or citizens in their municipalities. Many of them have also opened citizen registers.
The citizen registers will remain open until February 20th inclusive. The local initiative meetings will continue until March 15th.
The prefecture of Alpes-Maritimes is responsible for collecting all the citizen registers.
The means of transmission proposed to the mayors as of February 21st are as follows:
• Submission at the prefecture (mail and reception office) or at the sub-prefecture of Grasse;
• Submission at the gendarmerie or police station corresponding to the municipality;
• Transmission by email after scanning to the address: pref-granddebat@alpes-maritimes.gouv.fr.
