The Minister of Sports, Roxana MARACINEANU, and the CNOSF President, Denis MASSEGLIA, will participate in the major debate “Democracy, Citizenship, and Sport” organized by CDOS 06 this Wednesday from 5 PM at the National Sports Museum.
The involvement of the sports movement in the Alpes-Maritimes promises to be total.
All the leaders of the departmental sports committees and Azur clubs, educators, athletes, officials, volunteers, as well as mayors, sports officials, parliamentarians, and departmental or regional councilors of the Alpes-Maritimes will be able to debate on the announced theme.
For Philippe Manassero, president of CDOS06 and the initiator of this initiative: “This debate will allow for interaction on issues such as the role of sports associations in society, jobs, and training, volunteerism and civic engagement, the fight against discrimination through sport to build a more supportive and tolerant society, and many other proposals that participants will bring forward.”
