As part of the National Festival Everyone on Bikes, everyone will have the opportunity to discover or rediscover tourist bike routes and family or sports activities set up in the department.
On Saturday, June 16 and Sunday, June 17, departing from Nice station: “The Land of Art and History by bike.”
On June 16 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., arriving at Place des Platanes in Sospel and on June 17 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., arriving at the Town Hall of La Brigue.
The aim of these rides is to discover the exceptional cultural heritage of the Roya-Bevera through guided bike tours led by guide-accompanists.
Tourism on Free Wheels
The General Council of the Alpes-Maritimes developed a Departmental Cycling Plan in 2005, currently comprising 278 km of secured bike paths.
To enhance this plan, a Plan Tourism by Bike 06 was launched in 2011, including the development of cycle-tourism loops for all audiences, the implementation of actions dedicated to mountain biking, as well as a program of events punctuating the summer season.
