La Ligue contre le cancer 06 offers an innovative action for middle school students in the department: THE INTERACTIVE THEATRICAL DEBATE. The general objective is to enable young people aged 12 to 13 in school settings to maintain a favorable attitude towards their physical and psychological health by developing their personal resources and reflecting on their behavior regarding tobacco.
What is the interactive theatrical debate?
The interactive theatrical debate includes 3 scenes created from real-life situations showing certain characters in communication deadlocks. The scene is played identically a second time. This will give spectators the chance to intervene if they wish. The coordination between various interventions, the synthesis of proposals, and the link between the audience and the stage are ensured by the “game leader or joker”. He is responsible for the functioning of the theatrical debate.
The spectator can intervene:
by saying “STOP” to halt the scene
by coming on stage and replacing the character in difficulty with whom they feel solidarity
Thus, they will have to argue with another character called the “oppressor”.
Through their words and behavior, the substitute can change the course of the action and put an end to the process of entrapment. In doing so, they convey their own prevention messages. By multiplying interventions on a single scene, a very rich array of different proposals is offered. The theatrical debate is thus constructed as interventions unfold.
The performance will be followed at 11 a.m. by an official check presentation from Arkopharma Laboratories to the Alpes-Maritimes Committee of La Ligue contre le cancer.
