This is a first for the department! The Director of the Prefect’s Cabinet and GADDICTION (a local road safety actor) will sign an open letter addressed to all business leaders and community leaders in the Azur region, in the presence of the Arénas Leaders Club.
400 paper letters will also be sent by mail. “Commit to the road safety of your employees”: The state and departmental road safety stakeholders are inviting leaders to fight against the leading cause of workplace mortality:
- by signing the national call and making seven operational commitments to address the main factors of road accidents
- by training their employees in road safety.
Nearly 500 people lost their lives in road accidents related to their work last year in France. In addition to the corporate social responsibility that falls on them, the “bosses” know that these 6 million lost workdays represent a considerable financial loss.
