After several weeks of suspension approved by a majority of the National rugby clubs, the French Rugby Federation (FFR) revealed, this Friday, the schedule for the resumption of the Nationale championship. The Stade Niçois will return to the rugby fields starting the weekend of January 9th to 10th with an away game in Cognac, Charente.
Following numerous discussions with the clubs, the French Rugby Federation validated the freezing of matches scheduled between the 7th and the 13th rounds of the National championship, and revealed each team’s schedule for the second half of the 2020-2021 season.
Consequently, the Stade Niçois will return to their traditional Arboras stadium during the weekend of January 23rd and 24th, 2021, against Tarbes. This will be for the 15th round of the championship.
The trip to Cognac will count as a make-up day to balance the number of home and away games in the second part of the season. The matches against Nice with the teams of Bourg-en-Bresse, Dax, Cognac, Suresnes, Narbonne, Blagnac, and Dijon will neither be played nor counted.
Here is Nice’s schedule with the dates:
