National Youth Day: Young People from Nice Engaged in Artistic Training

Latest News

The National Youth Day (JNDJ), created in 2011 by the Banyan association, aims to bring together a host of initiatives, both public and private, so that young people (primarily those aged 14 to 20) can better and more concretely perceive their future by exploring both the professional world that surrounds them and their own aspirations and skills.

During events organized all over France, young people will have the opportunity to discover the working world and discuss with their peers who are already engaged in professional training.

Organized for the first time in Nice, the JNDJ will bring together, at the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art, young “culture mediators,” students from Lycée des Palmiers, Villa Thiole, Lycée Paul Augier, and the Conservatoire National à Rayonnement Régional (CNRR) of Nice. Each of them will demonstrate, through performances or workshops, their skills and share their experience with more than 150 students from secondary schools (3rd year) and high schools.

At 3 PM, a contemporary dance and percussion performance will be given, created and performed by students of the Conservatoire National à Rayonnement Régional of Nice.
