This year, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the Bird Protection League and for the 3rd consecutive year, the Pôle Azur Provence Urban Community is participating in the 6th edition of the Nature Festival “Funny Birds.”
The Nature Festival is a national event that allows everyone to experience an exceptional moment at the heart of the most remarkable… or most everyday natural sites!
The 2012 edition honors birds: birds are visible throughout the territory, in cities as well as in the countryside, in all natural environments, and are a subject of discovery and ever-renewed emotion for all audiences.
Associations, libraries, professionals, and volunteers from the 5 municipalities in the territory, in partnership with many local stakeholders, have thus imagined events allowing people to observe the birds, recognize their songs, discover arrangements nestled in gardens, in the woods, but also offer workshops, conferences on the riches of nature, particularly around the discovery of insects, fish, wild and edible plants, food biodiversity…
Once again this year, the Pôle Azur Provence Urban Community and its partners invite the public, young and old, sporty or not, to discover this universe through nature and heritage walks, conferences, workshops, performances…
