Today, we discovered the premises of the French Communist Party of Nice Riquier vandalized with Nazi symbols.
The day after May 8, 1945 ceremonies, symbolizing our country’s victory over the Nazis, seeing swastikas and Hitler symbols on the walls of a Communist Party HQ, whose militants greatly contributed to this liberation, sends chills down the spine.
This encourages us once again to continue our ideological and educational battle against the spread of far-right ideas in our country. Let’s not allow this climate of hatred to settle in our city!
This is also a lesson for all political leaders who seek to normalize the rhetoric and ideology of the far right as happened during the last elections, particularly between the two rounds of the presidential elections.
