Guest on RTL this Wednesday morning, Christian Estrosi confirmed the return of masks in public transportation across the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis.
The President of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis and mayor of Nice announced, on RTL, a joint decree with the mayors of the metropolis:
“In continuation of metropolitan transportation…, starting Monday, based on a joint decree we have taken with the mayors, everyone will be required to wear a mask”.
While more than 206,000 cases were reported on Tuesday, July 5, the government is recommending mandatory mask-wearing but has not yet enforced it. In response to the seventh wave, the Metropolis has decided to take the lead. During the last metropolitan council meeting last week, he had already expressed his intention.
