The Arénas Leaders Club and the association for the promotion and development of organic agriculture in the Alpes-Maritimes (Agribio 06) set up the first 100% organic market this Friday, April 4th, at the central square of Arénas.
As a reminder, Agribio 06 is the association that unites the organic producers of the Alpes Maritimes. Created in 1983, it works to promote and develop organic agriculture, support farmers and project initiators in setting up, develop markets, and structure the supply chains.
According to this association, consuming organic products from the Alpes-Maritimes means reconnecting with the freshness of food and the flavors of the region. In addition, it means promoting the department’s food production to enhance its autonomy.
The productions offered by the farmers are all AB certified and represent a wide range of typical products from the department.
At this new market, one can buy seasonal products as well as those available year-round, including vegetables, small fruits, honey, olives, cheeses, sprouted seeds, cereals, aromatic and medicinal plants, meats, and plants.
With the support of Arénas, the largest business district of the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, this organic producers’ market will now be held every Friday, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm at the central square of Arenas, in Nice.
