On the occasion of the general assembly of the “High-Tech Club” at the headquarters of ACRI company, we invite you to the inauguration of the new art space, managed by the “Ambre International” association, on June 20th starting at 12 PM with artists Michel HERGIBO and Sandrine RICHARD.

The High-Tech Club aims to create a relational space favorable to the development of high-tech activities on the French Riviera by bringing together industrial, scientific, engineering, and higher education actors from the Alpes-Maritimes and the Principality of Monaco, relying on local and regional institutions and organizations, both public and private.

The exhibiting artists:

Michel HERGIBO
Born on April 27, 1948, in Orlรฉans (Loiret), he taught art history and painting at the Auxerre School of Fine Arts and was also a lecturer. He currently teaches in Six-Fours-les-Plages.
He holds a degree from the Paris ร‰cole Supรฉrieure des Beaux-Arts and is a certified plastic arts teacher.
HERGIBO creates often monumental works, through a synthesis that combines and superimposes conceptual backgrounds and figurative subjects.

His work: The African Women
The title “The African Women” was chosen to signify the very primitive aspect of the paintings that are both symbolically representative and ritualistic objects. These elements closely relate to African art. However, The African Women are of contemporary inspiration. Several themes are addressed, linking the tool used to various other themes with a focus on madness and insanity.
Between painting and installations, The African Women consists of about thirty monumental paintings on burlap or sackcloth presented like tapestries.

Sandrine RICHARD
After an elliptical course at SORNAS, School of Technical and Artistic Drawing in Paris, and a first-year DEUG preparation in Plastic Arts, Sandrine RICHARD experiments with painting, seeking a medium between the concrete and the fully abstract, unable to resign herself to either.
Besides her painting career, she evolves and works in the world of photography, increasingly guided by intuition, using an informal and minimalist style in shades of sand, earth, and ochre.
Her personalized forms of art generate fervor.
Various exhibitions:
Montfermeil in 1997: Spring Salon;
Monaco in 1998 at Hรดtel Mรฉridien Beach Plaza;
Dreux Salon “Perspectives 99”;
Antibes in 2001 at HABITAT store,
