Two weeks ago, law enforcement carried out a major operation in a neighborhood located in the eastern part of the city. This Wednesday, another large action took place in the north of Nice.
Yesterday, a major bust was carried out by the departmental security police and the Local Crime Treatment Group. Intervening in the Pasteur neighborhood in the early hours of the morning, they arrested 14 suspects and seized 100,000 euros in cash as well as over 21 kilos of cannabis resin and herb. A weapon was also discovered.

Christian Estrosi, the mayor of Nice, praised this impressive seizure with a message posted on Twitter.
“I commend the very successful operation conducted by the National Police 06 and GLTD (Local Crime Treatment Group) that led to the dismantling of a drug dealing point, the arrest of 14 individuals, the seizure of 21.5 kg of cannabis resin and herb, nearly 100,000 euros in cash, and weapons, in the Pasteur neighborhood of Nice.”
