The new headquarters that will house the premises of the Early Childhood Training Institute was inaugurated by Prefect Pierre COSTA, president of the Lenval Foundation, and Pascale GERARD, vice-president of the Regional Council of Provence Alpes-Cรดte d’Azur, in the presence of Bernard LECAT, director of the Lenval Foundation, and Lysiane GUILLOUX, director of the IFPE.
The Early Childhood Training Institute (IFPE) managed by the LENVAL Foundation was created in November 2012, following the transfer of early childhood training activities (childcare assistants and pediatric nurses) from the Red Cross to Lenval, which had hosted the Lenval childcare assistants’ school since 2010.
It includes two types of training: childcare assistant training and pediatric nurse training.
As of today, it is accredited to annually train 105 full-time childcare assistant students, 25 part-time students, 12 students through apprenticeship, and 30 pediatric nursing students.
The team led by Lysiane GUILLOUX is composed of 10 people, including 7 trainers.
