Indeed, according to the latest figures released by Santé Publique France, for the 2nd day in a row, the incidence rate is rising.
However, the number of infections had been significantly decreasing in the Alpes-Maritimes for 6 weeks, as the Alpes-Maritimes reported 642 cases per 100,000 inhabitants during the week of February 18 to 24, which is almost 7 times less than on January 21 (4,293 cases).
