The stage of the Palais Nikaia hosted more than a thousand participants for this original creation in four acts. Among them were schoolchildren from various localities such as Beuil, Blausasc, Breil, Clans, Levens, Pรฉone-Valberg, Roquesteron, Saint-Martin-Vรฉsubie, and Tende. The students and teachers of the Departmental Conservatory, along with adult choirs from the department, added their talents to this symphony of notes, songs, laughter, and colors, which told the captivating story of a 12-year-old Maralpin boy in search of attention, traveling from planet to planet to reach the Moon, where incredible adventures awaited him.
Charles Ange Ginรฉsy, delighted by this exceptional show from the Departmental Conservatory of Music, expressed his satisfaction and congratulations to Christian Tourniaire, President of the Conservatory, for successfully bringing together all the choirs of the Alpes-Maritimes and all the musicians to offer such a magnificent evening. The President of the Department also wished to commend the teachers of the departmental music school and the diligent work of the students throughout the year to present this unique concert. He emphasized that the Department was proud to promote music by allowing amateurs to perform on a grand stage like that of the Nikaia. He also stated that the departmental community would continue to highlight a high-quality musical and cultural offering, in line with its mission of territorial solidarity towards the inhabitants of rural areas.
For his part, Eric Ciotti expressed his joy at seeing the union of generations and territories from their department on stage: “I am delighted with the success of this collaboration between the Departmental Conservatory of Music and the services of the National Education. Art, music, and culture are essential landmarks in our society, and the Department will continue to support all the actors who bring them to life daily.”
