After a convincing start to the year, NMCA continues its season. Here are the team’s upcoming events for the month of May.
After a tour in Brittany for the Tro Bro Leon, NMCA will remain there this week to participate in the Sportbreizh, the Tour of Finistère, and the Boucles de l’Aulne – Châteaulin. Tomorrow will be the Sportbreizh, which is unique as it combines a road race with sections on gravel, as it follows the “swenyo” (gravel paths in Breton).
The Tour of Finistère will take place on Saturday, starting from Quimper for a 199.9-kilometer race across Brittany. And on Sunday, NMCA will meet in Châteaulin to compete in the 181 kilometers of this 2024 edition.
Moving Away from Brittany
We will meet from May 14 to 19 in the Hauts-de-France for “the Four Days of Dunkirk.” Contrary to its name, this race does not last 4 days, but indeed 5, during which our team from Nice will compete in 6 stages across the region.
We then head to Mayenne for the Boucles de la Mayenne from May 23 to 26. This is an important race where the NMCA team will face World Tour teams. Finally, to end this month in style, we return to the Alpes-Maritimes on the 29th for the Mercan’Tour Classic Alpes-Maritimes. A home race that the team from Nice will surely be eager to win.
