The Polka Dot Jersey Sponsor Launches a Casting Call to Recruit the Future Melon Driver
E.Leclerc is one of the major partners of the Tour de France and also the sponsor of the legendary polka dot jersey. For this new edition of summer’s unmissable event, the major retail giant is launching a grand casting call to recruit the driver of the star vehicle in its publicity caravan: THE MELON. For nearly a month, this melon travels through the regions of France and has become one of the emblems of the Tour.
What Are the Prerequisites?
Firstly, you will need to be available from June 26 to July 22 inclusive. Obviously, having a driving license B for more than 3 years is mandatory. And of course, if you like melon, that’s a plus.
This 111th edition of the Tour de France will kick off from Florence, Italy on June 29. With its 11 vehicles, the E.Leclerc caravan is returning and you could be part of it.
