Projections come to the city from June 30 to July 9 in Nice. The municipality is offering free cinema sessions for families and film enthusiasts.
A cinema screen is being set up in Nice neighborhoods for outdoor screenings. This project is led by the department of entertainment and associations. Three stops are planned. Your summer cinema will move from Parc du Ray, to Place Saint-Roch, to Square Daudet.
Classic films are being offered to the people of Nice. On the program: the American blockbuster Jurassic World, the dramedy Intouchables, and the first installment of the French comedy saga, Les Visiteurs. A recipe guaranteed to move from laughter to tears.
The public is expected from 8:30 PM for a screening at 9:30 PM. The session is free, with no reservation possible. It is therefore advised not to come at the last minute, as it’s first come, first served! On-site, the public can find refreshments and snacks.
Jurassic World, Intouchables, and Les Visiteurs 1, classics to rediscover!
- Friday, June 30, the Parc du Ray takes on Jurassic Park airs. The first installment of Jurassic World (2h04), released in 2015 and directed by Colin Trevorrow, will be shown on a big screen outdoors. A revival featuring actors Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard in the main roles, twenty-two years after the first events on this famous island with dinosaurs more lifelike than ever.
- Tuesday, July 4, the internationally acclaimed film Intouchables, released in 2011 and directed by Eric Toledano and Olivier Nakache, will be shown at Place Saint Roch for 1h52 of emotions. François Cluzet and Omar Sy play the roles of Philippe, a tetraplegic, and Driss, his home aid, in a fascinating and endearing duo.
- Friday, July 7, it’s the turn of the timeless classic Les Visiteurs 1 to entertain the people of Nice at the Square Alphonse Daudet. Directed by Jean-Marie Poiré, this popular comedy was released in 1993 and lasts 1h47. You’ll find Jean Reno, Christian Clavier, Valérie Lemercier, and Marie-Anne Chazel in their respective cult roles.

- Friday, June 30, as part of the 40th anniversary of the Center for Women’s and Families’ Rights of Alpes-Maritimes, a program of short films by women will be shown at the Jardin Alsace-Lorraine (entrance on Boulevard Victor Hugo).
- Saturday, July 1, the animated film Dilili in Paris by Michel Ocelot, released in 2018, will be shown at Las Planas (Clos de boules, rue Jean-Henri Fabre). A feature-length film accessible from the age of 10.
- Friday, July 7, the dramatic animated film by Cartoon Saloon, Parvana, an Afghan Childhood by Nora Twomey, released in 2017, will be shown at the Jardin de Lecuyer (entrance on rue Émile Ripert). A feature-length film accessible from the age of 10.
- Saturday, July 8, the French animated film Little Vampire by Joann Sfar, adapted from his comics, released in 2020, will be shown at the Jardin des Jacarandas (entrance on rue de la Santoline). A feature-length film accessible from the age of 6.
- Sunday, July 9, the Franco-Czech-German animated film The Crossing by Florence Miailhe, released in 2021, will be shown at the Jardin du Musée Chagall.
