A week after their victory against Vienne, the red and black team aimed for a second win this season. Tarbes found itself in the same situation as Stade Niçois after two games. The Pyreneans lost on Massy’s field (20-13) before defeating Blagnac (23-20) last week.
For this match, Alexandre Compan made four changes in his starting XV compared to the team that defeated Vienne last weekend. Sunio Vola started in the front row, Adrien Vigne returned in the second row. Rahima Smiler, who scored a try in the previous match, started in the third row. Finally, Luca Cutayar appeared in the back line. It is noteworthy that this was the third consecutive away game for Stade Niçois.
Animated start to the match

A few minutes later, Stade Niçois secured the offensive bonus point with a penalty try (3-24). A new try by Andrzej Charlat allowed the Maralpins to soar in this match (3-31) in the 64th minute. This marked the winger’s fourth try in three matches this season.
The offensive showcase didn’t stop there. David Odiete scored the fifth try for the red and black team in the 68th minute (3-38). The match score remained there. Stade Niçois claimed their second consecutive victory, with the offensive bonus point. The team from Nice was very efficient in attack, scoring five tries, and solid in defense.
