In order to protect the purchasing power of the inhabitants of the territory, the region is allocating 25 million euros to offer 250€ to 100,000 households.
This energy boost comes in the context of a significant increase in prices. With an annual inflation of +5.2% (INSEE) in 2022, the purchasing power of the French is being severely tested. The Southern Region is thus working alongside the European Union to implement this exceptional measure.
“Through this scheme, 100% financed by European funds, the Southern Region reaffirms its commitment to the purchasing power of households in a context of rising costs. This is Europe in action, if we know how to use it, and the Southern Region does. 250€ in aid is concrete, simple, and responsive,” declares Renaud Muselier, president of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, and deputy president of Regions of France.
A flat-rate aid of 250€
This scheme is aimed at 100,000 households in the territory subject to income conditions. If you wish to apply, you will need to provide: proof of identity or a valid residence permit, a recent tax notice in your name, as well as proof of residence with an address in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region. The dedicated platform is open from September 19 to November 22, 2023.
