The Allianz Riviera will transform into a temple of ice hockey, with two rinks and over 30,000 seats, and the Palais Nikaia will host curling. In total, Nice will have 75 hockey matches, 150 curling matches, 16 figure skating sessions, and 9 short-track events.”ย
Moreover, the Olympic village with 1,500 beds will be converted into student and social housing, and a new 5,000-seat ice rink for figure skating and short-track will permanently remain in the city of Nice.ย
