Latest News

Real estate is an uneven field depending on the inhabited regions. Prices are increasingly high depending on the desired area, the surrounding businesses, activities, or even the offered view. Nice has 4 of the most expensive streets in France.

9,000 euros per square meter. That’s the price of Avenue Jean Lorrain in Nice. MeilleursAgents assessed the price per square meter of the most expensive streets in France. Unsurprisingly, the capital widely occupies the top spots. The price of the first five streets/avenues in Paris exceeds 20,000 euros. In sixth place is Avenue Jean Lorrain in Nice. The Côte d’Azur occupies the rest of the spots in this top 10.

These prices can be explained by the attractiveness of the city of Nice. The proximity to beaches and mountains, various tourist sites to visit, events on offer, etc. Well-situated apartments mean that some of these streets/avenues are priced very high.

The Côte d’Azur may seem expensive with this study conducted by the real estate site. But according to the LPI – SeLoger barometer, in December 2021, Nice is the seventh most expensive city in France. With an average of 4,665 euros per square meter, it remains well above the French average of 3,339 euros. The most accessible municipalities in France are Saint-Etienne (1,493 euros/m2), Perpignan (1,623 euros/m2), and Limoges (1,663 euros/m2).
