On April 10th, come cheer on the racers of “La Charly Bérard” at Auvare Park in Nice. Two routes are offered to participants in this cycling event organized by IFC Cyclisme and open to all federations: 115 km and 85 km, passing through the towns of Aspremont, Levens, Contes, L’Escarène, Lucéram…
Charly Bérard, the patron of this competition, has given his name to the race. A former cyclist, he was a professional from 1980 to 1988, participated in seven Tours de France (finishing 16th in 1982), and was a teammate of Bernard Hinault.
This year’s edition has been organized in collaboration with the organizers of the “Coppa Piemonte.” Fifty Italian cyclists will join the participants from the Côte d’Azur.
The award ceremony will take place at 3:30 PM.
In parallel, the 3rd edition of the “Nissa Vélo” will be held. Organized by the Sprinter Club of Nice, this cycling race for young riders (minimes and cadets) takes place on a closed circuit around Vauban Stadium. Sixty cyclists from the 06 clubs will start either the 16 km (20 laps – minimes) or the 32 km (40 laps – cadets) race.
