Nice: A new festival postponed

Latest News

The Sport Unlimitech Festival, which was supposed to take place in the Azurean capital in a few days, has been canceled due to the health crisis.

It was supposed to be held at the Allianz Riviera on the 20th and 21st of January. However, given the critical health situation in the Alpes-Maritimes (with an incidence rate of 2500 per 100,000 inhabitants), the event’s organizers have decided to postpone the fair to March to “ensure a quality event.”

Therefore, the festival will eventually be held on the 24th and 25th of March, 2022. On the first day, registered participants can consider the new challenges of “spectacle sport 3.0” through four conferences (Sporting Competitions: Soon All Digitalized? / Sport and Entertainment: The Emotion of the Heart! / Connected Venues, What’s the Impact? / Broadcasting Sports: A Changing Model!) and three workshops (Sport Unlimitech Workshop by Orange / Innovating in E-Sport / Testimonials: Experience the Locker Room).

As for March 25th, registrants can attend new conferences in the morning (Fan Relationship Management: How to Interact Better? / How to Reinvent Sponsorship? / Influence: What Role for Opinion Leaders?).

Supported by the Ministry of Sports and Research and chaired by the French rugby legend Frรฉdรฉric Michalak, the Sport Unlimitech Festival travels across France, stopping in 5 major cities, each time with a different theme but always linked to sports innovation. After the Lille edition focused on “Sport Performance” and the Lyon edition on “Sport Impact,” the tour will make a stop in Nice before continuing its journey to reach Toulouse (Sport Health) and Grenoble (Sport Green).

If you wish to participate in the Nice event, registrations and the program are available online.
