On December 7th and 8th, Nice will be one of the 4 ambassador cities for the 2012 Telethon alongside Dreux (28), Moissac (82), and Saint-Paul de La Réunion. The cameras of France Télévisions will take over the heart of the azure capital for live broadcasts throughout the program.
Each year, the city of Nice is heavily involved in organizing the Telethon alongside the local association network. This year, Christian Estrosi, Deputy Mayor of Nice and President of the Métropole Nice Côte d’Azur, wants the city’s involvement to be exemplary: all municipal services and the Social Action Community Center will be mobilized alongside associations to ensure the success of this major solidarity event.
For two days, the people of Nice will be in the spotlight, sharing the festive atmosphere and local traditions. Activities, challenges, and games will be on the agenda so that every citizen can be an actor in this exceptional Telethon.
