Nearly a year after the attack, a France-Italy legends match will be organized at the Allianz Riviera on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 8:45 PM, to benefit the families of the victims, gathered under the Association “Promenade des Anges”.
There has been a strong enthusiasm felt for several weeks throughout the Nice region for this match.
This charity match will feature former great names in football, including, on the French side, World Cup 98 champions, European Champions 2000, and 2006 World Cup finalists against their Italian rivals from the 98-2000 era.

The initiative by the Club des Internationaux de Football in favor of the victims and families of the victims of the July 14, 2016 tragedy, gathered under the Association “Promenade des Anges”, has been spontaneously supported and relayed by the City of Nice, the Nice Côte d’Azur Metropolis, the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur Region, OGC Nice, the Mediterranean League, the Allianz-Riviera stadium, and nearly 15,000 tickets have already been reserved.
