Raising studentsโ awareness of the partner country’s language, informing them about exchange opportunities, combating clichรฉs and stereotypes about the neighbors on the other side of the Rhine: this is the mission of 23 animators who travel throughout the school year across the regions of France and Germany to convey an open and current image of the neighboring country and to build bridges between the two languages through fun language activities.
Supported for 15 years by numerous partners in France and Germany, these programs have reached 1,750,000 students in more than 20,000 general and vocational educational institutions.
Thanks to the support of the Franco-German Cultural Center (CCFA) in Nice, the 23 animators of the two programs will gather in Nice from April 10 to 13 to conduct a mid-term review, share their respective experiences, and participate in training sessions preparing them for professional life after the end of their mission.
