From November 28 to 30, the 25th Rencontres Cinéma et Vidéo celebrates a quarter of a century of independent creation.
The Regard Indépendant association organizes the 25th Rencontres Cinéma et Vidéo in Nice, from November 28 to 30, 2024. The festivities will take place in three emblematic venues: the Espace Laure Ecard, the Jean-Paul Belmondo cinema, and the Variétés cinema. This event is part of the Autumn of the Image, a local initiative that honors cinema, video, and photography.
For 25 years, Regard Indépendant has been promoting emerging cinema and the use of Super 8. This technical and aesthetic tool remains at the heart of the Rencontres, bringing together enthusiasts around an artisanal and demanding cinema. Through its collections, the association has produced nearly 300 films by various creators.
