The 64th edition of the Nice Christmas Regatta began this Monday, as part of the French sailing championships.
Over these four days, including three days of competition, 25 Star-class boats (7-meter-long boats) from 12 different nations took to the Baie des Anges. Initially, 31 boats were expected to compete, but some had to cancel due to the health crisis.
The championship program includes three races, one for each day of competition, barbecues, beer parties, and a dinner raffle. Finally, the awards ceremony and the presentation of the Jacques Puissegur trophy will take place on December 30th at 2 p.m.
