The Executive Committee of the French Football Federation, in consultation with FIFA, has designated the nine host cities meant to host the matches of the upcoming 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup.

With Grenoble, Le Havre, Lyon, Montpellier, Paris, Reims, Rennes, and Valenciennes, Nice is among the host cities for this international competition!

For Christian Estrosi, the Mayor of Nice: “It is a great honor and pride for our city to participate in this global event. This perfectly aligns with Nice’s ambition to make the city a welcoming ground for major international events.”

For him, these events provide “significant media and economic returns.” They represent a fantastic promotion of sports participation among the youth.
