Motorcycling: Fabio Quartararo Makes History
The young rider from Nice finished in second place at the Grand Prix of the Americas held in Austin, Texas, in the Moto 3 category this Sunday. This is his first podium finish after just two professional races. Not yet 16 years old, Fabio Quartararo surpasses his idols Valentino Rossi and Marc Marquez, who had to wait for more races before reaching a podium. “I am super happy to get my first podium. I knew I had the potential to be in the top three from the first GPs,” the Nice rider told Eurosport. The Estrella Galicia rider is in third place in the overall standings. The next race is this weekend in Argentina.
