New shops are opening their doors in Terminal 1 to offer more choices for passengers: two “Your Fashion Store” locations, one in the Schengen reserved area offering fashion accessories from brands like Lancel, Longchamp, Repetto, and Guess, and one in the public area dedicated to fashion with Guess and Desigual. Relay Presse, located in the international reserved area, dedicates a portion of its space to regional products.

Introduction of the “Beauty Bubble” Concept

“Beauty Bubble” offers a haircut in 10 minutes without an appointment for just 10 euros. Ideal for hurried passengers who want to get a quick cut or blow-dry just before taking off, this 10m2 bubble-shaped micro-hairdressing salon has just been set up in Terminal 2. Starting in August, Beauty Bubble will also offer nail beautification for 15 euros.

Redesign of Club Lounges

Nice Côte d’Azur Airport continues to redesign its club lounges in the boarding area of Terminal 1. Following the Azur lounge in the Schengen area, the Riviera lounge in the international zone has been refurbished. Enlarged reception areas increase the total space from 287 m2 to 415 m2. 125 seats are thus available in a new, more comfortable and warm decor. Nearly 300,000 passengers visit the club lounges each year, about 6% of all departing passengers.

Blue T-Shirts to Guide Passengers and Distribute Coloring Kits to Children

During vacation departure weekends, Nice Côte d’Azur Airport is deploying facilitators known as “blue t-shirts” to guide passengers in the terminals. They will also distribute coloring kits to children in the reserved area.

Improvement of Reception for Persons with Reduced Mobility (PRM)

The police booths, in both terminals, in the departure and arrival areas, have been redesigned. The fingerprint reader has been lowered to facilitate control for passengers in wheelchairs. The recently renovated shops and kiosks now meet disability standards.

Finally, the airport is currently testing an innovative system in Terminal 2 for the movement of visually impaired passengers. A tactile guiding strip installed in the floor leads them from the entrance of T2-2 to the nearest information desk. If successful, this system should be generalized to all entrance doors of both terminals.

New Accessories for Pets on Sale

A service offering the sale of cages and transport bags for dogs, available at Service Centers, is also being launched, allowing passengers to travel safely with their pets.
