Wednesday, November 2, 2011, at 8 a.m. at 4 Boulevard Jean Jaurès
With nearly 250,000 travelers per day and 650 buses in service, the Lignes d’Azur network, which since March 2009 has combined the urban network of Nice Côte d’Azur and the departmental transport network, handles three-quarters of public transport journeys, excluding trains, in the Alpes-Maritimes.
To ensure the comfort and accessibility of users, following the launch of the Coulée Verte construction and the necessary demolition of the old bus station, maintaining a commercial reception area for the Lignes d’Azur network in the city center is essential.
A new commercial agency, common to both networks, will therefore open its doors at 4 Boulevard Jean Jaurès. This is the first joint agency for the Nice Côte d’Azur urban network and the departmental network.
This new building will include:
- On the ground floor: 4 sales desks, two for the departmental network and two for the urban network;
Upstairs: a common rest area for drivers from both networks, offices, and changing rooms for the agency staff.
These works, which began in July 2011, have been fully carried out and funded by Nice Côte d’Azur for a total cost of €260,000 including tax.
