The craft fair opens its doors in Nice from May 6 to May 9.

The Nice Craft Fair, organized by the Chamber of Trades and Crafts, is a public event that allows hundreds of artisans to market their products, as well as to showcase their crafts through conferences, demonstrations, and activities.

The Nice Craft Fair features 7000m² of exhibition space, 300 exhibitors divided into five sectors: flavors and tastes, home and decoration, environment, beauty and well-being, and innovation, with 4 days of festivities!

Friday, May 6:
2:30 PM: Inauguration of the 2011 Nice Craft Fair
All day long
¨ “Entrepreneurship in Craft” area with all business partners (RSI, URSSAF, Pôle Emploi, MNRA, Pro BTP, local initiative platforms, banks, accountants, MAAF…).
¨ Demonstration of fabric tailoring by the Best Craftsmen of France.

Saturday, May 7:
1 PM to 5 PM: Change your look and “have your portrait taken” with the Beauty Workshop
5 PM: “Best Baguette” contest organized by the Guild of Master Bakers and Pastry Chefs
All day long
¨ Introduction to Artistic Crafts with the Ceramics School of Vallauris
¨ Hairdressing and body painting demonstration by the Best Craftsmen of France

Sunday, May 8:
11 AM: Presentation of “Artisan” and “Master Artisan” titles
4 PM: Hair Show – launch of the Spring-Summer 2011 line organized by the Hairdressing Federation 06
All day long
¨ Introduction to Artistic Crafts with the Ceramics School of Vallauris
¨ Violin and bow making workshop led by the Best Craftsmen of France

Monday, May 9:
11 AM: Hairdressing parade with floral decorations
2:30 PM: Prize presentation for the “Craftsmanship Around You” contest
4 PM: “Nice Craft Fair” grand prize draw

¨ “Apprenticeship Speed-Dating”
