Starting May 26, the Environmental House is offering a new exhibition entitled “Waves and Coastline”.
Water, the sea, the ocean, the blue planet: 70% of our planet’s surface, 60% of our body, surely deserves our attention and mobilization to preserve this vital liquid, doesn’t it?!
“Waves and Coastline” is a traveling exhibition by the Surfrider Foundation. It showcases the various aspects of coastal life and its environment, offering an in-depth reflection on eco-citizenship. In a 200 mยฒ space, the exhibition includes numerous multimedia and interactive resources on the following themes:
- Observing and feeling the nature of the coastline
- Waves and wave science
- Taking action for our environment
- Eco-Citizenship.
Through the exploration of the ocean, the beach, and the dune, the exhibition covers many fascinating fields of expertise, such as oceanography, physics, meteorology, and ecology.
