The Nice Festival Académie brings together students of international level and young hopefuls around the biggest names.
It is organized across several venues, with most events taking place outdoors:
– The Cloister of the Monastery of Cimiez, an exceptional location still occupied by Franciscan monks and open to the public only for the occasion. Complementing the musical quality, the charm of the place and the indefinable emotion arise from the hundreds of student musicians and artists who have succeeded over more than 50 years in passing on the musical heritage.
– The Auditorium and the Open-air Theater of the new Conservatory of Nice.
– Classified, tourist, and charming sites in the pretty villages of the Nice hinterland.
It offers all forms of musical events: concerts, Carte blanche events, public master classes, student concerts, open stages, conferences…
As soloists, in chamber music formations, or accompanied by renowned orchestras, more than 100 international soloists and young talents will perform this year in around forty concerts.
They will cover all styles of music: baroque, classical, and contemporary.
It will also host in residence the Youth Orchestra NiceFestivalAcadémie, Musicatreize, and the Youth Orchestra of the Mediterranean and Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur.
